I am a Senior Photo Editor at GEO magazine with many years of expertise in producing, directing, and researching high-quality imagery.
The emphasis of my work is on visual storytelling, portrait and still life across multiple distribution channels, print and digital publications.
Apart from my job at GEO magazine I also work as a freelance photographer, spezializing in portrait, editorial, documentary and corporate photography.
I am based both in Tallinn/Estonia and Hamburg/Germany. I take commissions in the baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania but also in Finland, Scandinavia and Germany.
I have studied photography both at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund/Germany and at the University College Falmouth/England. I graduated in 2011 with my work “Lifeline”.
I love meeting people and taking pictures of them. When I am not behind the camera or the computer, I relish nature as well as travelling, philosophizing about life in general or simply improving
my cooking skills, trying to delight family and friends. I am always up for a challenge and any new experience that may come my way. So feel free to drop me a line and say Hi!
I speak native German, fluent English, Spanish and Estonian.
My clients include Monocle, Der Spiegel, DIE ZEIT, Surface Magazine, Mercedes-Benz Magazine, GEO kompakt, GEO Wissen, GEO Epoche, Wirtschaftswoche, chrismon, Handelsblatt,
Bertelsmann Foundation, change Magazine, German Embassy Estonia, Goethe Institute, Appelberg Publishing Group among others.
